Induction Week: The countdown is on!

Starting university might seem like a long way off, but as the summer draws nearer, preparations have already begun for September. Whilst you’re preparing for your exams, our Induction team are busy getting everything in place for Induction Week; a weeklong series of events designed to help ensure your transmission in to University life runs as smoothly as possible.

What is Induction Week?

From completing your enrolment, collecting your University ID card and meeting with staff and students in your academic departments, Induction Week gives you the perfect opportunity to settle in and find your feet during your first week. There’s also some great freebies for you to get your hands on, as well as some fantastic social activities designed to help you get to know people on Campus. As the summer progresses, you’ll find out a lot more about what’s in store for your Induction.

The 2016 Induction Week will run from Sunday 25th to Friday 30th September; so don’t forget to add it to your diary! In the meantime, keep your eyes on PASS, our Pre-Arrival Student Site. From August onwards we’ll be posting lots of useful information about starting University and getting to know the area.

To give you a better idea of what to expect, take a look at what our current first year students got up to during their Induction Week...
