At the University of Chester, we’re keen for you to have an engaging and supportive learning experience. One of the ways in which we do this, is by having specialised teaching sites suited to your course needs. One of our most recent developments was the Queen's Park Campus. Home to the University of Chester Business School, it offers degrees in subjects such as Accounting and Finance, Business Management, Events Management and Marketing Management. Formerly the Western Command headquarters for the army during World War Two, it’s a fitting location for you to prosper as a future business leader.
Prior to its launch in 2015, the Campus underwent an approximate £1.8 million investment in its facilities to transform it into a modern teaching and learning space.
- A dedicated library with over 8,000 printed books, access to over 500 subject specific e-books and over 50 printed journals all managed by a dedicated library subject support team
- Two 200-seat lecture theatres and four bookable group work zones
- Open-access computer suites with social seating spaces
- Various quiet study and learning pods
Outside of lectures, Montgomery’s, a Starbucks ‘Grab and go cafeteria’ and the top floor De Gaulle Brasserie dining room, with spectacular views of Chester and the River Dee, are the perfect place to visit. And when the suns out, what better place to de-stress than Queen’s Parks formal gardens; a tranquil nirvana away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Not only aesthetically pleasing, Queen’s Park Campus operates with your best interest in mind. Acting as a corporate hub, Chester Business School’s many partners from the public and private sectors are regularly welcomed to the site for business events.
To see this fantastic Campus first-hand, and to meet the staff and students that make it so special, why not visit us on one of our Open Days?
