With its excellent facilities, easily accessible location and, most importantly, its real sense of community, the Warrington Campus will quickly turn in to your home away from home.
A Community Campus
If you talk to any current students, or Warrington graduates, one of the first things they may tell you about is the great sense of community and family feel on campus. With around 2,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students, it’s the ideal size for a campus based University; busy enough to keep you entertained, but small enough for you to benefit from the close-knit community feel on campus. What’s more, our size means that class sizes are smaller and you’ll have plenty of opportunity to access all the facilities on-site. As Warrington has its own dedicated Student Support team and Students’ Union, you’ll always have someone to turn to if you need support along the way. There are also plenty of accommodation options on campus too, with self-catered and semi-catered rooms available, potentially for all three years of your academic study.
Courses on offer
The Warrington Campus provides innovative courses, with a strong focus on employability and transferable skills, broadly separated into three main subject areas: the Creative Industries, Warrington School of Management, and Public Sector. Specialisms include Media, Sport, Management, Policing, Education and Health and Social Care.
Campus facilities including numerous media studios, dedicated nursing labs, multiple sports pitches, our own radio station the CAT 1251 and 24 hour access Mac and PC labs. And what’s great, is that the majority of these facilities are available to all students, regardless of their course.
See it for yourself
